Life comes at you fast, as they say. I've not updated this for some time.
Before you can ask, some answers:
1. Yes, I am still at goal. In April, I celebrated my 5th anniversary of reaching goal, and filled out my 5th questionnaire from the National Weight Control Registry.
2. Yes, I still eat a lot. :-) It's fun.
3. I still bike. Just missed 3,000 miles in 2008 . . . this year's sucked so far, weather-wise, so while I'll try to break the 3K barrier this year, dunno if I can.
4. I'm still lifting - but taking a small break. I'm doing New Rules of Lifting for Women, and it's an interesting transition for someone who's closer to 60 than 50, has some repaired joints, and General Arthritis. (You remember him; he served in WWII . . .) I'm nursing a sore hamstring tendon. Don't ask - I strained it doing something in bad form (i.e., stupid).
5. I am still interested in writing. It's just that it's hard to find the time to write my longer, more involved posts. Perhaps I'll do more posts like this one: on the fly, not preachy (thanks, you're being charitable, but I am like that, no?) but more real-life, what I'm up to on this continuing weight loss maintenance trip I'm on.
Any more questions? Post a comment . . . I'll answer.
